Outsource customer service as a small business

Most outsourcing firms want 100 seats. We work with US teams that need three to fifty — and we match you with floors that will actually treat a small program seriously. Matching is free.

The problem with small programs

At three to fifteen seats, you are the smallest account on most floors. That shows up as junior agents, a shared supervisor and reporting that arrives late — if it arrives at all.

We shortlist vendors whose economics work at your size, so you get a named supervisor, real QA sampling and reporting you can act on.

What to outsource first

Start with the volume that is repeatable and documentable: order and shipping questions, password and account issues, appointment scheduling, tier-one troubleshooting, after-hours triage.

Keep escalations, retention conversations and anything requiring product judgment in-house until the offshore pod has earned it. Almost every successful small program follows that order.

How the matching works

Tell us your channels, monthly volume, hours and quality bar. We shortlist two to four vendors that fit a program your size, share indicative pricing and KPI commitments, and make the introductions.

We are operators, not brokers padding a list. If offshore is the wrong answer for your volume, we will say so.

Time zone coverage

All US time zones. ET, CT, MT and PT windows are all covered by standard India night shifts.

Common questions

Can a team in India really cover your business hours?

Yes. US business hours map to an evening-through-overnight shift in India, which is the standard schedule on every floor we shortlist. Most programs run 9-to-6 local coverage from day one and add after-hours or weekend shifts later.

What does it cost compared with hiring locally?

Fully managed offshore seats typically land between $7 and $12 per agent hour depending on skill, shift and program complexity. A comparable in-house US agent usually costs several times that once you add benefits, payroll taxes, tooling, floor space and supervision.

How small can we start?

From three seats. We focus on programs in the 10–50 seat range, so small and mid-size teams get real attention instead of being the smallest logo on a 500-seat floor.

What does ScaleDesk charge us?

Nothing for matching. We shortlist vendors, share indicative pricing and hand you the introductions at no cost. Managed delivery is a separate, openly priced option if you want us running the program.

How fast can we be live?

Two to four weeks for a straightforward voice, chat or email program — longer if you need niche compliance work, deep product training or specialized tooling.
